The good thing is different things will work...so if one method fails, try another. Congratulations on hatching out eggs, sometimes that too is a challenge.

Put each hatchling in a shoe box sized container. Provide a hide (i.e. piece of PVC pipe), a water bowl such as delicup with stones in it to prevent tipping. Wait until the first shed. Then offer any of the following: live pinky mouse, dead pinky/fuzzy mouse, head of day old quail chick, live or frozen/thawed small gold fish or minnow. Some will take the mice, others may refuse and insist on a fish. If/when they take a fish, follow it immediately with a mouse that has been washed with soap and rinsed, and rubbed with fish scent. I have never seen an indigo refuse to feed, but I have seen plenty of hysterical keepers...be patient, they will start when the time is right. Offer choices, and sometimes odd things will work, such as mice scented with canned tuna or salmon/water pack. Mice with the head split and bloody, frogs, etc. Search archives and forums, yours is a common question and much commented on. Previous has always worked for me, but you could also offer items scented with snake or lizards, or even a hatchling snake...try to find a deformed corn snake or other? Fish has worked well for me, usually they eat just a few fish and then convert to live or frozen/thawed rodents. Good luck, Vic
