I have a couple of johnii I paired this year- female is a normal, male is a sunset. This was my first year breeding this species.

I saw building from the female, but she didn't get all that big. I gave up on the pairing for this year, figuring I hadn't cooled enough or that the female still had some growing to do.

Anyway, the other day I was checking on everyone and found a single, big (52g) baby in her bin! It is pretty orange and doesn't have much striping. I've obviously not seen many johnii babies, I think only two of us in Canada breed these animals. Thoughts on this baby, is it a sunset type? I thought it was unusual to have a litter of one, but I was happy to see any babies from this species! Thanks for looking.
