Posted by: kangaskritters at Fri Sep 7 17:13:13 2012 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by kangaskritters ] Just wanted to share my recent experiences with the Agricultural department here in California. The last two packages of snakes shipped to me were "rejected" by the Agricultural department. Both packages got to me on time, but days later I received "rejection" letters informing me that they were inspected due to not having the scientific name/identification on the outside of the box. On the first box they contacted the sender and were able to release the package for delivery once he told them what was in the box. The second box was opened and they found the scientific name on top of the lid so they released that package for delivery. Just letting everyone know to be careful shipping to CA as they're checking everything. Make sure to identify scientifically what you're sending here so the package doesn't get delayed or worse sent back to you.
