Thanks!
It is totally serendipity that I wound up with the pyros I have, both babies and adults.

The dam came from a reptile store and was an impulse buy when I went there to get a replacement male for a non feeder male (did not realize at the time that they do go off feed in the fall! LOL!) So I got the new male, which is the sire and brother to the male that had gone off feed, and got the female that is the dam as the impulse buy. Later I was able to find out who the breeder was of the male, as his stock was easily recognizable, but the data on the female was lost in the wind. The owner of the reptile store retired that year as well. The breeder of the male became my friend, and we share pyro resourses and adventures. Having this friend is an added bonus, for sure!

None of this would have come into my life had I not been so ignorant about pyros going off feed with the winter season! Brumation; D'Oh!

Parents this last spring. The previous year she had a different mate but nothing came of it. That other male is the no black crossover and few bands type, and I have given him to my friend, who prefers that type. I only mated her to the sire of this year's clutch to see if anything would happen with this big 4 year old girl, not knowing what treasures would emerge from this pairing.
