So, I've got three Argus monitors that are growing like weeds. Looking to build them a substantial enclosure (10 x 10 x 8) in the coming months. While planning that out however, I started wondering how do other people provide temperature ranges in large enclosures (specifically, hot spots).

Do people still use Rete's stacks for larger monitors? Made of what? Wood? Sealed wood? Rocks? Some combination of all of the above? Any direction would be appreciated.
