Posted by: nategodin at Thu Dec 13 08:51:05 2012 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by nategodin ] Poor Bill Lamar... his name has also been attached to a line of rainbow boas from northeastern Peru that key out as Brazilians (Epicrates cenchria cenchria), but, because of their country of origin, were sometimes represented as the rarer and more expensive Peruvian subspecies (Epicrates cenchria gaigei). To make things more confusing, the Peruvian subspecies is no longer considered valid. I wonder if the story of the South American milksnakes will have the same ending?
