Tazumal, at 20-21 months old, has entered his first breeding season, flashing me with his hemipenes today to show me, for certain, that he is indeed a boy. So far, his behavior has been pretty good. He is eating a little less, but still eating and he hasn’t tried to kill me yet.
All of a sudden, his pores look like this:
