Thanks Toby!
I will definitely post photos. One baby was out this morning, so in a little while after he/she has time to rest, I will get the kiddo out for a weight, birth photo and put him/her in a bin with some water and moist paper towels. :D Eggs 3 and 4 have not pipped yet, but I'm sure they'll get the hint today.
I never thought I'd want to deal with snake eggs as I was paranoid years ago thinking "oh no, that sounds like too much can go wrong"...when really it's not that hard. In fact, I'm enjoying it a lot! It started with my leopard gecko eggs and then the joy and challenge of calabar eggs...immediately afterwards, my TPs decided they were ready to breed.
I really like this species. Beautiful, docile and extremely curious. Aside from learning the hard way (twice) that they are mega escape artists (lol), I've never had issues from the parents. They were gorgeous as babies and I'm so happy they grew into even more beautiful adults. I simply cannot wait to see their offspring.
I'll get pictures of the first baby Axanthic Blonde this afternoon!
Kindest regards,
Amanda Rose
