Hi, I am looking to get a new baby iguana but have some concerns. I have had large lizards including black throat monitors and savs. I have done homework on care housing etc. All set, however my main qusetion is about the animal personality/behaviour. I usually go by the rule that with patience and care, and proper handling you end up with tame/social animal. On reading some threads and sites there appears to be some belief that with iguanas some will be 'dog tame' wheereas others given same care will never come around. Yes this can happen with any species but I have some sites says iguana personality is more predetermined then most. I could obviously get older one and know what i am getting but prefer a baby that will eventually be friendly outside of cage. Any links..advice.. comments would be appreciated. Thanks.
