Hey Everyone,

My knowledge of breeding and egg-laying sucks, so I just wanted to ask a couple questions on here. My female albino leo is now over 10 years old. A few years ago, she did lay 2 infertile eggs. She has never been with a male her whole life. I am starting to think however, she might be gravid again with some infertile eggs. The fat in her tail has gone down quite a bit in comparison to my other female normal leo. She looks pretty bulky in the gut as well. I am puzzled because I read that geckos over 10 years will probably produce little if any eggs, even when trying to breed them. Could she be gravid? I know you can tell with leos as their skin is transparent, but is there a technique with a light to get a good look to tell for certain? Can you palpate the gecko to find eggs? I want to be sure that she is pregnant or not, otherwise, I will get a fecal done to see if she is losing weight to internal parasites or something.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
