My name is Joseph Donovan. I recently graduated with a degree in biology and I'm currently interning at various places. I recently completed a six month internship at a reptile zoo and I've decided to look for a mentor to teach me how to keep venomous reptiles in captivity. I plan to become a zookeeper and the reptile zoo that I was interning at doubled as a venom extraction facility. I've already been exposed to various techniques associated with the captive care of venomous reptiles and I've emailed several people who typically mentor individuals but I haven't heard anything back. If you know someone in Florida who would be willing to mentor me please let me know. If you have a facility, I would be willing to volunteer my time to keeping the animals in your collection.
