Hey Jon- they NEED variety in their diet. My current mix varies from batch to batch but usually I use an organic baby salad mix (without spinach)... chopped up... a handful or so of rose petals... some grated carrots .... yellow squash cut into small pieces/or grated.... a handful or two of grape leaves off the vines in our yard (rolled and cut thin)...and a handful or so of ground up GRASSLAND TORTISE DIET (it dries out the mixture alot and is full of fiber/grasses that helps to keep their stools solid). When dandelions are in season (right now in texas) I do my best to throw in a handful of flowers every few days.

My animals are kept outdoor in the natural sunlight year round so I rare supplement with any vitamins (I feel strongly that with a varied diet and natural sunlight, most animals don't need much vitamin/mineral supplementation).

Cheers,
Graham
