Hi, this is my first post in the KS forums. I live in South Florida, so I obviously have LOTS of reptiles running around outside. (native and invasive) I have my regular herps, but I have been starting to think about trying to catch my own wild lizards outside, perhaps the various skinks, curly tail lizards, or even some non-venomous snakes to add to my collection. I would like some ideas or advice from people who have done this on how to make a trap. What I have tried so far is taking a shoebox and cutting an opening on top, and using saran wrap to cover most of it and putting crickets in as bait. Lizard jumps in, but cannot get out because they cant grab the plastic wrap. Only problem is all I catch with this leaving it out all day is a million anoles. (which I do not want)
Anyone?
