I recently had this young SHB in with a male to get used to each other prior to keeping them on display in a nice 3' Vision cage that I freed up since I downsized and made the difficult decision to keep less Kings. They are two years old so I felt they would be past the overly aggressive phase of feeding frenzy hatchlings. I did not cool them and the male did not go off feed so I wasn't thinking this was a concern. Lord willing, she will do ok with some small meals soon and the eggs look like they might even be viable. I'm amazed at how large they are in comparison to her size. Trying not to stress her by peeking in too much. I was away for a week and just checked on her and saw her all swollen and put in a lay box. Kind of shocked. I hadn't planned to breed for another year or two.
