He's telling you that you're killing him slowly feeding him meat and eggs. These animals need WHOLE prey (mice, chicks, fish,insects,.... whatever, but the whole animal as food) or they get nutritional deficiencies and imbalances over time. While I am obviously joking that he's hissing at the cooked eggs, I am not joking about the long-term effects of that diet on a Monitor lizard -adding bone meal or a multivitamin doesn't cover it. Get a few mice or chicks in him, at the very least, weekly. Cheers.
