In the spirit of the season, and at Dave's prompting, I thought I'd share a few photos of my first clutches out and shed. I'll post a LOT more photos as the other recently emerged neonates shed out... there are some things that I'm really, really excited about this season.

Without further delay, here are pretty special animals - Lampropeltis triangulum multistrata from Sheridan County, Nebraska. Only a few are produced in captivity every year, and each and every one is stellar looking and unique. I was lucky enough to produce two clutches this year, though both were small (one had two eggs, the other four), in keeping with the fairly small size of the adults from this locality. Both clutches were sired by this male (photo by Jose Ole):
