Laundry unites, Air Conditioning units, and your house's boiler room. These areas are usually very warm and tend to be around where people fine theirs. Next to these areas try laying out food on a paper towel to see if it disappears (assuming you have no pets that normally roam the house). Another possibility is if you have your heat on and there is air ducts at ground level that it might have slipped into. For this you can add string to a rat/mouse's tail, toss it in as far as you can, and drag it to leave a scent trail for the snake to stalk it.

Along the base of your walls (snakes tend to move while staying tight to the wall) you can add strong double sided adhesives. This works for trapping just about any animal from spiders and roaches, to reptiles and rodents. I used a strong double sided tape to successfully catch an adult Eastern Ribbon Snake about the side of a young adult kingsnake. I had to stay up all night because of cats in the house, but it finally got caught and I got it.
