Not a great quality picture and he's about to shed, so very dull AND has food bits all over his upper lip, but this amused me tremendously. This is the first time I've seen Eddie do the gape, though he has been bobbing more frequently.
Very interesting to note head bobbing differences between these guys and other lizards like green igs, beardies, etc.
Very rapid, short shakes as opposed to full, smooth, up-and-down bobs.
That said, he's not an aggressive boy.
We've had him for a while now, and he's definitely a favorite. Very inquisitive, and intelligent enough that it's tough to avoid anthropomorphizing him.
