Here is my experience so far with this product for aquatics that are picky eaters. My large female NWS was eating 5 toads per meal until I changed the bedding one day and she stopped recognizing them as food. Zilla appetite stimulant didn't change this behavior but was an excellent liquid food, however while it was sufficient for keeping hatchlings alive through the entire winter, the adult was getting skinny (I presume because liquid nutrition has no fat in it) so I started forcing creek chubs into her for mass along with the supplement. After 3 months she was having a hard time with a shed, but then one day she recognized a catfish sitting on the table as food and started eating it. Now I'm going to offer catfish until toads are available again, and she will be the "teacher" to show other snakes it's ok to eat on that table. There has been no other sign that it works as an appetite stimulant or that it is complete nutrition.
