There are rumors that C.Pinguis and C. Cornuta once inhabited mainland P.R, but today they are said to be extinct. I would bet there are cyclura to see in the Zoos. There are 2 Puerto Rican nearby island options, and I believe both require permission to visit.
To the West is Isla Mona, with the unique Rhino Iguana subspecie- C. Cornuta Stejnegeri

To the south is Isla Magueyes, which is said to have a dense introduced population of C.Nubila Nubila noted for being not as large, and having a higher percentage of orange than other cubans observed in Captivity. Good luck and post some pictures if you see any of them.
