If he's an adult he's probably in breeding mode. My male quit when introduced to the female on Thanksgiving and just fed for the first time today! Many, many copulations and the female just ovulated so its looking like he did his job. Separated them last week and it took live prey to get him back into feeding mode.



Emeralds are slow metabolism snakes, he lost little if any body weight throughout the fast.
