Ok the time is getting near for SnakeDays 2014, as normal we are behind and scrambling to get the last things done for this year. I have several things to get out so i will outline them below.



1) We will cut online meal purchases out for online sales a week or so before the event to get everything printed and get a head count to the caterer. You will be able to buy tickets at the door but will not receive the pre-order price, as well this meal tickets will be a 1st come bases and when they are gone they are gone.



2) We have some very big name speakers this year and there could be limited seating, as well this online sales will be cut off a week or so earlier. Once again if we do fill up we will only have limited seating to be purchased at the door.



3) We are looking for donations for the auction as well as cash donation, we need a lot of help in this department. As you know to pull off an event way out in West Texas such as this is not an easy task and does cost money. Numerous cost have gone up this year so we need your help. If you are in a position financially and want to help please do, if you have items for auction please email me so we can get them included.



4) This year the Hardin's had prior commitments and will not be there this year. Those of you that no them know how hard they work on site to make this event with the lectures and auction work smoothly. They will be greatly missed for this year. We are looking for 2 select people to volunteer to help with the auction and equipment for the lecturers. This is a big job and you will have to work, in return your event ticket is free and you will receive a 2 cost on the meal as a volunteer (the meals still have a minimum cost that must be paid) If you are interested please email me or another board member for consideration for this 2 tasks.



As you can see we have several hurdles ahead of us, if you can help in anyway please do, this is a great non profit event with some great results in the state of Texas, as well what other event puts you in Alterna World. (I did include Gray-banded kingsnake to be forum correct)
