This is a sensitive subject, so I would appreciate your patience and understanding.

The hostility that seems to appear on the forum makes it an uncomfortable place to be. This is opposite the intention.

Much of the hostility seems to be centered around the "bonding issue" and giving snakes "choices".

After listening to comments, discussion and much thought (over a period of the last 3 years), I have a request.

I am asking you to stop posting lines or comments that could be perceived as hostile or antagonistic to other suggestions. Whether perceived or not by others, there are some who still post comments "under the radar" of most posters here today just to antagonize and undermine this forum. Most of these posters have long histories here and only want to disrupt this forum with occasional sniper posts.

I realize that to many, it is an important issue, and I will admit to being sensitive myself, but a negative approach is not good for herpetoculture.

Intelligent, civil communication is more valuable.

We should try to always leave " shiny footprints" where ever we go. I personally have tried to avoid negative comments towards other breeders. (No, I'm not perfect either ) I think it serves to keep thoughts about kingsnakes and other parts of herpetoculture more positive than negative.

If you would like to be closely associated with good community, we would greatly appreciate, and it would be our wish that you consider leaving shiny footprints rather than hostile feelings where debate is concerned. And not make it about people, but the snakes!
