So I have been looking for some bulls from my area to start a northern Colorado locality project and a couple weeks ago I found this beautiful girl a couple miles from my house. She was actually in an area by Loveland Colorado (where I live). She actually wasn't from the area I ultimately want to collect from but she is so beautiful has such a nice pattern so I kept her. She was pretty chubby but I just thought shed been eating good she even took thawed very happily and she went into shed so I thought just maybe I should make a nest box. SO GLAD I DID! Today while I was on waterdish duty she was sitting outside of the box looking like a deflated tire. I opened the box and saw 7 plump eggs and 2 slugs haha. She spaced em out nicely so I didn't have to pick apart a clump to throw the slugs out. Even tho she wasn't from the area I wanted I'm still happy I got her.
