Am proud to announce I have acquired what looks to be the newest recessive gene to play with in mexican milk snakes. Last year Bill Lamoreaux had a breeding of 2 "normal" apricot colored Hebbronville TX locale specific snakes that produced 3 aberrants (1.2) as well as a couple normal ones. The same pairing this year produced another aberrant and there is another clutch cooking now. So it is assumed it's genetic and not just random.

I was able to get 2 of the 2013 females, an aberrant and a normal het. Hopefully I will be able to get a male this year, but am already planning for albino X aberrant.

And the aberrant...
