I think you are missing something here. It is a proper vivarium only much more versatile. If you notice, there are PVC tubes that go down from the vivarium area into the bins. This will allow the snake to go from a surface area down into a subterranean environment. Not even close to a rack system. This type of cage will allow for a HUGE range of thermo and humidity gradients. This can never be achieved in a simple rack system. I use racks almost exclusively for my snakes. I am a breeder so I need to utilize as much space as possible. However, I would like to try this type of set up for a pair of hogs just to see how they utilize the large gradients. You are right about one thing. It is not new, but it is rarely utilized.

I am still trying to figure out if you really like to be argumentative or if you are just as stupid as the day is long.
I like to argue sometimes too but I also know when to quit. It can get repetitive and good points of view and invaluable information seems to become farts in a wind storm.

Maybe you can bring something to the table other than trying to one up frank. Try posting lots of pics of your set ups, information on behavior, and successes attributed to the way you do things.
