Many years ago I got 3 Floridas delivered to me in the Fall - 2 subadults and one juvie. The juvie would not feed for anything. I ended up cooling all three soon after until about mid Feb. After that, the juvie became a voracious feeder.

I am sure I am not the only one who has experienced something like this with a Florida king. I live in the West where Fall can have somewhat low humidity at times. I notice that with some kingsnakes I have had, low humidity in Fall coincides with reduced desire to feed. Not sure if it cause and effect, I just notice that it happens at the same time.

I recently got into hognose. My hoggs eat more often in Fall than any other time (thus far).
