i have a 4 year old female hog island boa that Ive had since she was a baby. about 3 months ago i got a male boa that was about 6 years old to hold on to for a while so i put him with my hog. i gave him back about 3 weeks ago or so. my female looks a little different than usual. she is a little over weight, but she is starting to look really heavy in the middle of her body. i usually feed her large rats but i ran out so Ive been feeding her 1 small rat every week or so. but the center of her body looks like she just ate a very large rat but all the time, i thought it was alot of built up poop, but she pooped today and it was a ton, but she still looks large. she is still eating and spends alot of time on the warm side of her tank for the past month, she dose spend some time on the cool end to though. i cant tell if she is pregnant or just overweight. its just that she looks HUGE in the center of her body, as if she had just downed a very large rat. its just strange.
