Hi Amanda! Well is seems you have had quite a day doesn't it? I can see where the boys mother may be over reacting to this incident if she had another child attacked by a dog. Thing is we have watched Brewster grow up on this board and in all of that time there has never been an incident such as this one. I am thinking you are right and Brewster turned his head to the motion of the kids hand and he may have been panting or whatever and it startled the kid when his mouth touched his hand. I think the quarantine is just a process because of the report made and it shouldn't be anything to worry about. Without any witness and documented by several people that there wasn't a puncture the burden of proof for the mother to take any legal action would be negligable. Even the kid himself said he was okay. Sounds to me like it was a bad day for someone and they need to make someone else's day miserable as well.
