The Ziwi Peaks food is not raw and has a higher moisture content than regular kibble. If you can afford canned food, that may be a good option for him. Almost any canned food will give him the moisture he needs to help with the crystals. soaking his regular food may be enough for maintanance once he is stable from this episode. To get him over the hurdle, a chicken/rice diet for a month will not hurt him.
