I have heard of some agility dogs getting this. Some have had the surgery while others have not. I do not know enough about it to really recommend one treatment vs. another nor any of the consequences. I will say that all of these dogs have still had decent quality of life after diagnosis. I am sorry you are going through this. It is never good when the pups are doing poorly. Take care and hopefully the symptoms are mild and you are able to keep them that way for a VERY long time!
