Hi There...



I have an adorable 5 month old Goldendoodle named Roxy. She is my second Doodle and I have owned other dogs my whole life.



Our last Goldendoodle was very mouthy as a pup, as a lot of them are, but Roxy is taking it to a whole new level. She was extremely nippy as a small pup and her baby teeth were murder. Thank goodness they are gone. My husband is definitely the Alpha dog and she has never nipped him, but my two kids (16 & 12) and I are her primary targets. She is smart, affectionate, plays well with other dogs, etc. At times just loses her mind. She goes after our hands and forearms and the more we try to get her to stop, the more she goes at us, sometimes growling and lip-curling. We have tried it all to try and get her to stop. Shaking cans with pennies in them, talking softly, ignoring her, crating her, sticking our hands in her mouth in an uncomfortable manner, firm "no", gentle "no" and I am not proud of this, but in desperation even a thunk on the face or butt. Good grief, we even tried an air horn. It was one thing when she was a 15 pound puppy, but now she is a 45 pound puppy. I need some suggestions so that my kids and I can form a plan and solve this as a group in a uniform manner. Anyone?
