It's not much help and I can't remember the circumstances as it was well before Beni's eye problems but he went through something similar I would guess about 6 or 7 years ago. I don't think my vet ever did find a cause. I remember a round of anti-inflammatories and some quiet time and then all seemed well. Sorry...
