I'm currently in Boston for 6 weeks and couldn't go that long without having a little friend with me so I purchased a small aquarium and a little black moore goldfish. At the end of my stay here I would like to take the little guy back to Florida with me to add him to my aquarium back home which has two large goldies in it. I was thinking I could transport him in a nalgene bottle since he is so small, but I am concerned about his oxygen needs. Are there any tablets that I can put into the water that will release oxygen (I seem to remember seeing something like that at a petstore once). If not I was thinking I could plug in the air pump at the airport before my flight and then during my lay over. Will he be able to go say 2 hours in a closed bottle before the next oxygenating? Thanks for any suggestions.
Ian and fish.
