I have just been given a bow front tank, was told it was 79 gal., but it could be a 72 gal. It came with stand, glass top, light, 2 aquaclear filters, and a 300 watt heater (not sure what kind) I want to try keep my electricity costs down, with regard to heating it. What is the most energy efficient heater, that will also be reliable and accurate? Also, if I am staying with a backmount filter, is the aquaclear a good filter? I like the largest Whisper backmount, it is what I am used to in my 55, 33, and 20 gal. tanks.
