It's hard to say from the pictures. The females naturally have a bigger belly, but it gets bigger with pregnancy. You will need to look by her anus. Right above her anus (upper abdomen) there would be a dark spot (possibly a little pink to red) called a gravid spot. It may be a litle difficult to tell on her because of her markings. This is the indicator of a pregnant live bearer. If she is just recently impregnanted, it may take a few days to a week for the gravid spot to show. Towards the end of the pregnancy, some people can see the eyes of the babies within the mother, but I never could. It will probably take her approximately 28 days to have her babies. Keep an eye on both her belly and the area above her anus. Also be aware of her eating habits. It is normal for a female about to give birth to refuse food, but that is also a sign of illness.

Were there males in the tank that she was in when you purchased her? Some stores separate males and females. Also, has your tank cycled yet? If not, you may lose the babies (it is possible, not saying it is for positive). She may be a very healthy girl, and could live through the whole cycling process, but I wanted to bring that to your attention. I don't mean to sound negative; I am just keeping you informed as some people who post here don't have a lot of experience and some do.

I'm here to help, so keep me posted of any changes.
