biggest pleco?

what is the biggest species of pleco? the biggest i can find on live aquaria is the sailfin (1.5') it looks like what they call common plecos but so do trinidad plecos. how do i tell the differece?

4", 8" common pleco
9" vampire pleco
13" iredescent "shark"
12" typhlonectes natans
1" albino clawed frog
2" spotted cory
lots of guppies for t.natans food
