We currently have green hair algae in our tank and I find it sort of pretty and several of the fish love it. We have been told by several fish suppliers it isn't harmful. However, my husband strongly disagrees and insists it is evil. lol

We have recently had a PH drop and nitrate spike and he blames the algae. I am wondering if his accusation is valid.

Thanks. =)
