I work with a rescue that also sells toys and we are very careful about toys being made only in bird free smoke free areas and stored also in bird free, smoke free areas but I know many aren't that careful. The same way with walk-in pet stores some have their toys packaged and sealed so they are safe others have them out in the open near where they sell birds. I have even seen some that will place a toy in their birds' cages and if they don't like it they will take it back out and put it on the shelves. Unless you can personally go visit their store or know the owner/employee personally I am not sure of a way to find out for sure. Of course if you ask I am sure they are all safe LOL! Even the ones that aren't really I have also seen that site before, not sure how long it has been up but they haven't changed yet or added anything else since the last time at least as far as I can tell, so I am not sure if they are just slow getting the site up or if that is as far as they are going to get??
