>>Is it rare for a Albino cockatiel to have blue/grey eyes?

>>My Female Albino has blue/grey eyes!! When I asked the breeder if it was abino he said no cause it didn't have red eyes!! I will show a picture later!! But every time I take a picture her eyes are red!! Shes is a albino cause I don't know if there is a white cockatiel, I know the lutinos, because i have one but shes a pure white bird, Lutino/whiteface.

>>Thanks, Melissa

Your breeder is right. A TRUE albino only has red eyes, not blue/grey or any other colour.

A lutino cockatiel is often mistaken as an albino. They're almost identical, even down to the red eye colour, but yours not having red eyes is a VERY definite indication that it is not albino.

The red eye you get from taking pictures is simply called red eye. It happens with most cameras unless you have a red eye reduction setting on your camera.
