I have a beautiful 9 month old male grey cockatiel. He came down sick on friday, fluffed-up, loss of apetite, regurgetating/spewing and really quiet and sooky. I took him to the vet who says he has a crop infection.
He has been having antibiotics now for 2 days and seems to have perked-up, he is singing and flying again and seems mostly happy but he is still regurgetating and fluffs-up alot. Does anyone know if this to be expected? and what would be a usual recovery period?
If anyone has any advice for me, i would greatly appreciate it as I guess all bird owners understand how much I love him and want him to get better!
Thanks!
Rochelle
