There are three cages I would highly suggest. The kings cages 406 and 506 are both good sturdy cages and you can find them through many stores and even at times on ebay. They both will serve as a good lasting home for a macaw. I believe prices range from around $600 - $900 depending on if ebay currently has any or which stores you can find to ship or else have in your area so you don't have to pay shipping costs.

Personally I would go with the Silverado Dometop through Fosters and Smith. We just ordered one through them and absolutely love it. It is larger than the Kings Cages and seems to be just as sturdy. It is also a "pretty" cage besides being functional. The door is huge for cleaning or when getting your bird out to play. The main thing that was a little worse then the kings cage is the putting together. It comes in more pieces than the kings cage that has to be assembled. The price is right around $500.

Another option but would probably be my third/fourth choice would be the double macaw cage either on ebay, through kings cages website. It is wonderful in size and with the middle panel removed makes and awesome sized cage for a macaw. The problem I have with this cage though is the door size. The size of the doors make it harder to clean the interior and to get a bird out if it is feeling a bit ornery that day. It is almost impossible to reach the back corners when cleaning. This cage costs around $550 to have it shipped to you on ebay and I believe somewhere around $600-$700 on their actual website. I will try to provide a few links, if I can find them real quick.
