Hi all,

I will admit I am somewhat ignorant to many aspects of birds and their care. I am posting this for my grandmother who recently "inherited" a large amount of birds.

She has a lovebird that was born entirely red. She has heard that birds like this are 'mules' and unable to reproduce, etc. Is there any truth to this? I look at this bird and he/she almost looks sad. Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Jeff
