So I'm off for spring break this week and as I was walking into our kitchen I noticed a big bird stuck in our screened-in-patio. It turned out to be a Peregrine Falcon which are very rare and supposedly just made it off the endangered species list in 1999 but are still listed as "rare". There was also another smaller bird in our patio that the falcon had caught and eaten. But the falcon had actually gone through the screens and was stuck in the patio. It must have been "dive bombing" after the bird and went right through our screended-in-patio Here are some pics. Sorry about the quality I didn't want to get too close becasue the Falcon was freaking out everytime it saw us.
