Posted by: MetroCityBlues at Fri Oct 29 12:50:33 2004 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by MetroCityBlues ] I have a problem, I have a 11 year old, 14.2H, QH/welsh pony, named Metro, he has very stocky build, but for the last year or so his weight has just been out of control. He wears a grazing muzzle when in the field, only get a handful of sweet feed for AM and PM feedings, and when he stays in only about a half of a flake of hay. Metro is a show pony who does the 2'6''-2'9'' pony hunters, and he honestly looks like a brood mare that is carrying twins. Even with the muzzle, he hasn't lost any weight. In my 15 years of riding I have never owned one that we could never get to loose any weight!! Are there any products that I can put him on to help him loose weight, because I am severely worried about founder. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
