Haha, it's their job to get dirty! Sometimes you'd never guess mine were paints at all. I have to wonder if they don't feel like they need to cover up the white on them with mud!
Flame is very cute! I hope training goes well. I'm sure he'll be quite an eyecatcher when you start competing!
