I really love my book that I got many, many moons ago called,
"Centered Riding" by Sally Swift. I notice now that there is a Centered Riding 2 and a few videos. Hmm...I'll have to get those.

Another great book is about the REAL horse whisperer, Monty Roberts "The Man Who Listens To Horses". He's a hero to me. He took my grandfather's way of breaking a horse, with flour sacks full of grain, whips and spurs and made them obsolete in my mind and many others.

Oh! And of course there's the kids books, if you're interested: the "Black Stallion" series that I enjoyed when I was a kid along with "My Friend Flicka", "Misty of Chincoteague", "Justin Morgan Had a Horse", OOOOOOhhh...and my favorite that I read over and over and over and over..."Black Beauty". Some of those are timeless.

If I think of any more I'll let you know.
