I'm so sorry to hear that! How horrible, but at least he's now on the mend.

It is hard to find many vets who treat goats. And as sad as it is, the main reason a vet won't treat one that is injured when they don't normally treat goats is that if they agree to take on the case, they then become liable. Unfortunately, there's just enough bad folks in the world to ruin it for the good ones and you just can't be a good samaritan anymore without getting sued.

Hopefully he'll be recovered and bouncing about soon enough! And perhaps he'll stay off the picnic table for a bit
