I have two ducks that are both about 7-8 months old, a male Pekin and a female black Indian Runner. The past month or so I have seen them mating (male on top of female) and then she started laying eggs. Are they fertitle? And yesterday she started laying on them all day and today she did the same, she hasn't even left her nest. There are about 8-12 eggs, I'm not sure exactly how many becaue I don't want to disturb her by trying to count how many. Has she gone broody and will the eggs maybe hatch? If anybody has any info about any of this stuff, I would greatly appreciate it because I'm new to this. Thanks!
