How to identify this species?

My fiance caught me a tarantula this weekend in our local mountains. Every local herper has one, as they are friendly and will walk right up to you.

They are brown, I have never heard of a different color, not TOO hairy that I have seen. They grow HUGE,at least 6-8" leg span that we saw this weekend.

How do I find the name/info of this species?
